SAP PaPM Functional Consultant

We are looking for a SAP PaPM Functional Consultant to design, implement, and optimize SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business and IT teams to support financial modeling, cost allocations, and profitability analysis using SAP PaPM. Additionally, the role includes ensuring knowledge transfer from the client team and building and maintaining a knowledge database for the new team.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and design SAP PaPM solutions for profitability and performance management
• Configure and optimize SAP PaPM models for cost allocation, forecasting, and financial simulations
• Work with finance, controlling, and IT teams to integrate SAP PaPM with S/4HANA and other data sources
• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer from the client team, documenting key processes and configurations
• Build and maintain a knowledge database, ensuring documentation is up to date and accessible
• Support system testing, validation, and user training to ensure successful adoption of SAP PaPM
• Optimize data processing and performance within SAP PaPM
• Provide troubleshooting, support, and enhancements for SAP PaPM applications
• Stay updated with SAP innovations and best practices related to profitability and performance management

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in SAP PaPM implementation and configuration
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, cost allocation, and profitability analysis
• Experience integrating SAP PaPM with S/4HANA, BW, and external data sources
• Ability to document and transfer knowledge effectively to ensure a smooth team transition
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA and HANA modeling
• Knowledge of scripting and automation within SAP PaPM
• Exposure to financial planning and analytics tools
